I’m a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, and in February 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, I’m recovered and inspired to help other women through their breast cancer journey.

When I was diagnosed, my life changed. Naturally, I felt fear and resentment towards the direction my mind and body were heading, but above all, I felt determined to get through it for my family and myself. Along the way, I had to navigate between different styles of clothing and learn to adapt to my new figure. It was through this trial and error that I was able to rediscover myself as a woman. 

 

Having been through the process of breast prosthesis fittings, I recognize the need for a guide who has not only experienced the hardships of breast cancer, but who has also courageously overcome them. I started Audacious Figure in the hopes of becoming that resource for women facing these life-changing circumstances. As a certified fitter, I aim to provide specially tailored advice and offer a wide range of products of the highest quality. As a woman and fellow survivor, my goal is to form relationships built on utmost support, understanding, and compassion.
